Project Overview

Laydex were briefed to assist in creating a high end roof design using a single Ply membrane that had an IAB certificate, and carried a material and labour warranty. This was achieved using the Renolit Alkorplan profile system. The effect was a standing seam effect roof.

The roof was installed by local roofing contractor, Robert Carroll Roofing, Ballybeg, Currow, Killarney, Co Kerry. The detailing was intricate as there was a number of changes in direction in the roof, and these were easily achieved using Alkormetal formed to create the details. Alkor flashings around the velux roof lights were also created using the Alkormetal.
