The POLYBASE 1200 Gauge (300 Micron) is a loose laid damp proof membrane designed to seal the ground floor construction, perimeter walls and around service penetrations to eliminate damp from entering the structure.
The most recent edition of the Irish Building Regulations Technical Guidance Document C, “Site Preparation and Resistance to Moisture” as updated in December 2020 contains specific and detailed instructions about the type of Damp Proof Membrane which must be used underneath floors in construction. POLYBASE is the only 1200 Gauge DPM (minimum 300 micron) on the Irish market which fully conforms to the Building Regulations.
The outer sleeve of PolyBase is completely branded and the face of the material itself is now printed showing the NSAI logo and number allowing for clear and easy identification on site.
