The multi-faceted, single-layer EPDM waterproofing membrane

It is the only waterproofing membrane to combine the material advantages of the synthetic rubber EPDM and high-quality, polymer-modified bitumen. A successful combination since, thanks to the polymer bitumen layer underneath, the material can be installed on virtually any substrate and welded easily, quickly and safely with a hot air gun and no naked flames. The Süddeutsches Kunststoff-Zentrum (SKZ) certifies that RESITRIX® has a service life of over 50 years – as a single product on its own and for seams.

Easy to install without naked flames
RESITRIX® roof waterproofing membranes can be welded together easily and safely with a hot-air gun, with no need for naked flames, which rules out the risk of roof fires. Since the entire underside of the membrane is weldable, the installer does not need to worry about special seam edges, instead being able to select sections for connections and terminations however they like. The success of the hot air welding can be checked immediately through a simple visual inspection: if a bead of bitumen has emerged between the two membrane layers, the seams are completely sealed.
